The Eastwood Manor knight was carved in 3 weeks from a 25 ft tall oak stump. Numerous designs were considered before the final design was accepted. The sculptures theme as well as execution needed to be site specific, working well with the manor house and current re-design of the garden.
Nine ft tall figures carved from ash for a private garden in Winterbourn Monkton, Wiltshire. The first figure in the design leaned so far over the hedge line, on to the adjoining garden that my clients neighbor was asked to suggest her own character. The result was a very large leaping hare. The project was completed in one week.
