Since graduating B.F.A. from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 1986 Raymond has exhibited extensively in the U.S.A. and continues to do so in England. How the human figure can be manipulated by the artist to convey the human condition is paramount in Raymond's work. Landscape painting in oil helps foster an awareness between the artist and his surroundings in much the same way figurative sculpture allows the artist to vent and connect with the self,emotionally and spiritually. ......
